Our story

Yolk was born in 2003 from a deep belief: that organizations can mean more to the world around them. We saw how logistics and finance, when used with purpose, could create real impact.

At TPG, we worked alongside the UN World Food Programme to support food security. At ING, we helped shape a global microfinance programme that enabled local entrepreneurship in places where trust was the only collateral. And at Rabobank, we helped reimagine the way people work — through ‘Rabo Unplugged’ — giving professionals the space to be meaningful and effective, without layers of unnecessary control.

Working where it matters

Since then, we’ve walked beside organizations facing questions that truly matter. How do you build resilience after a crisis? How do you lead through complexity? And how do you stay close to your values — even when the pressure is high? In sectors like accountancy, government, business and finance, we support leaders and teams to sharpen their judgment and make space for the conversations that count.

Leadership in public life

We’ve designed leadership programmes for the Dutch National Library, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water, and the local police force in Antwerp. And we stepped right into the heart of education and youth care — helping bridge the gap between schools, governments and support systems. In communities like The Hague and Westland, we led programmes that brought people together in practical, hopeful projects that made a real difference.

What ties it all together

Across everything we do, there is one thread: we believe in co-creation. In taking people seriously. In making space for change — not through slogans, but through honest work. We don’t fix from the outside; we move from the inside out. With patience. With purpose. With people.

Yolk, that’s why

We called it Yolk for a reason. It’s the nourishing centre of something new. Full of potential. Always in motion.
